Austen
Inyangsam (As popularly addressed or Baba Pastor in the Nigerian Maritime
Industries) was born 6th August 1959 at Igarra-Edo State – Nigeria to Mr. &
Mrs. Akpan Sam Inyangsam of Ikot Eko Ibon- Onna LGA of Akwa Ibom State-
South-South Nigeria.
Attended
St John Primary School ( 1965-1970) Igarra-Edo State; St Paul Anglican Grammar
School-(Igarra)-1971-75; College of Science & Technology ( Later Rivers
State University of Science & Technology) Port-Harcourt – 1977-81;
1982-84/85) graduating with HDT- Marine
Engineering;
M.Tech- Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Technology).
Had
shipboard experience on various vessels, Graduate Assistant/Assistant
Lecturer-Rivers State University of Science and Technology- 1982-1985. Joined
Damen Shipyards Nigeria Limited- 1985-88 (Yard Supervisor/Acting Technical
Manager).
Joined
Apapa Trawlers Limited ( IBRU ORGANISATION) as Technical Manager-1988 till June
1989 when he resigned to start Aussam Shipyards Nigeria Limited.

opportunity for owner-operated trawlers for shrimping and fishing in the
coastal states of Nigeria. The Oil majors are interested in the speedy take
–off to reduce restiveness in the Niger Delta and
Coastal
States of Nigeria.

AUSSAM BULK SHIPPING SERVICES:
Calabar-Duala-Malabo-Calabar-Fast
Ferry Services (West/Central Africa). The project is tap the numerous
opportunity in the West/Central African route easing acceptable and safe water
transport system/vessel- Modern fast crafts are to be used.

Aussam Institute of Maritime Technology & Transport Management.
Training
of Sea-going cadets for the International Maritime Community as well as
updating professionals in the Oil & Gas Industries.
d)
Aussam Bulk Fertilizers has acquired 20 acres of land for the building Organic
Fertilizers plant at Mokoloki in Ogun State- South West, Nigeria.
The
plant has local farmers as target. We are working with AFAN- All
Farmers
Association of Nigeria- Edo State-South South, Nigeria; in the
setting
of Mechanized farms in the State.
IMPORT/EXPORT
Aussam
Bulk Shipping Services is involved in the brokerage, affreightment, importation
and local distribution of bulk commodities such as Rice, fertilizers, Alum,
Fish and petroleum products: AGO, DPK and PMS.
Aussam
Trade is working closely with Taiwan Investment Group for Africa (TAID GROUP)
to market Asian Products which includes computers (Laptops), Motorcycles, Solar
